Little balls of goodness...

 view my instagram

This is a 'got to' snack for me. I hardly eat chocolate, I might have a biscuit with my tea (but that's usually home made too). I'd much rather this home made ball of goodness over a shop bought snack.

Now, I wont give you measurements cause thats kinda impossible sometimes.... depends on how many I want to make too! I just keep them in the fridge. If they get hot they will become soft - keep that in mind. You can add so much goodness to this tiny ball.... I'll create variations soon too!

You'll need:
A thermomix or food processor
Dates
Roasted almonds
Cashews
Shredded coconut
Raw cocoa powder
Chia seeds
Buck wheat
Organic coconut oil

Now what:
Blend the dates really well.
Add the rest of the ingredients.... followed by coconut oil to bring it all together.
To make them pretty... roll them in chia seeds or other times of seeds.

I always have these babies on hand in the fridge! Enjoy.

Before your spray tan...

I don't provide this service for anything other than pure education about the sun & your skin, how harsh it is to your skin and what it can do to your skin over time. My Dad passed away from skin cancer and this is the exact reason I provide the service from home. Not only can it trigger nasty cancers, but i ages you incredibly, creates skin spots and it is just no dam good for you. the end!!!

It is so important to prep your skin before a tan. Why? because this is what create the perfect base for your tan. It helps to extend the life of your tan and reduces any 'patches' you may get as it wears off.

A couple of 'must dos' before your spray tan include:

1. Exfoliate! I use a pair of gloves from Woollies, cheap and easy!!
2.  Remove all unwanted hair the night before or morning of your tan.
3. Make sure your skin is free from make up, moisturiser & deodorants.
4. Wear loose clothing after your tan!!

Stay tuned for more tan tips overtime..... for now, healthy/happy tanning!!

Sadie's Update

We sure do miss Sadie.

Sadie has now spent the last 2 weeks in hospital trying to figure out if she will be well enough to come home and spend her life happy and healthy here with us.
We aren't sure if she is going to even come home. Being diagnosed with a liver shunt which means her blood is not being filtered from toxins has created a neurological disorder, causing her to slowly go downhill.

We miss her so much and cannot imagine our family without her.

Please get better Sadie. We need you to come home.
